今回のリリースは初のブルーレイで、ネガフィルムから新たにデジタル化され映像のクオリティは過去にリリースされたDVDの比ではありません。
また、以前アメリカで発売されたスペシャルエディションのDVDに収録されたオーディオコメンタリーや、特典特典映像とは全く異なるキャストインタビューや、タイトルチューン他サウンドトラック未収録の挿入歌を担当したエディディクソンの音声インタビュー、他トレイラーなど特典映像満載。
